Abstract: |
An archaeological assessment was carried out on the proposed assessment site. The norhern part of the study area contained crop marks of a possible Roman/prehistoric date. Anglo-Saxon remains have been recovered from the area and medieval earthworks were also identified within the study area. A defensive ring of pillboxes were also present. [Au(abr)] |
