Abstract: |
Observation and recording recorded Roman building debris in parts of all areas, but was particularly noticed on Areas 1 and 2. The finds were in keeping with the presence of one or more substantial Roman masonry buildings in the vicinity. Post-medieval features were identified in the form of Victorian cellars, a post-medieval pit and a cache of 19th/20th century domestic waste. [Au(abr)] |
