Abstract: |
The works revealed two chalk and flint walls, belonging to the late 15th century undercroft of a chapel. Much of this chapel was demolished in the mid 17th century. The watching brief also indicated that archaeological deposits were present at a depth of about 1m below the modern ground surface. [Au(abr)] |
