Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment identified that whilst no specific archaeological remains were known or suspected to exist on the site, it did have some potential for the survival of Roman deposits, given the proximity of a Roman road and to a lesser extent the survival of medieval deposits from the historic settlement of Shadwell. However the report also suggested that several factors in the site's more recent history made it unlikely that such deposits survived. [Au(adp)] |
