Abstract: |
A watching brief was kept on machine excavation prior to the installation of four large fermenting vessels. The site is close to the historic centre of Faversham. This revealed recent activity which had disturbed the upper 1 metre or so. It appeared likely that any earlier soil layers in the vicinity of the site would have been truncated immediately prior to the laying of a hardcore/rubble base and tarmac surface. [Au(adp)] |
