Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on land at Manor Farm, Luddington. The site lay immediately to the south-east of a large complex of cropmarks which had previously been interpreted as a Roman villa or sophisticated native style settlement. Three evaluation trenches were excavated, one of which located linear features. These were assumed to be of Roman date, despite no dating material being discovered, as they lay on the same alignment as the cropmarks. [Au(adp)] |
