Abstract: |
The medieval tower foundations were recorded. In the trench, 20m south of the west end of the church, five burials of late 18th century/early 19th century date were uncovered, two with deposition plates, one with coffin handles. The burials were orientated on the 19th century graves nearby. There were no signs of any medieval burials, and this area could not have been used for burials before the 18th century. [Au] |
