Abstract:		 An arcaeological watching brief took place during April/May 1996 at Milford House, Salisbury, Wiltshire. Observations were made during the groundwork for a new building in the grounds of Milford House Nursing Home. No archaeological deposits or finds were encountered during the work, and over much of the site area comparatively recent made ground occurred directly above natural levels. Only the western corner of the site displayed good survival of original soil profiles. [Au]
