Abstract: |
A small group of overgrown mining features, located on the slopes of Higher Fraddon on the route of the A30 Indian Queens-Fraddon, were investigated. One feature proved to be a partly backfilled hollow marking a post-medieval shallow outcrop shaft (a lode back pit) while the other was a proposecting pit (probably contemporary with the shaft).
