Abstract: |
The evaluation located an area of archaeological interest within the southern region of the site. The quantity of both surface finds and features dating to the Late Bronze Age - Early Iron Age indicated the presence of a settlement site. The presence of a ditch, disposal pit and possible fragments of hearth furniture indicated that the occupation was domestic in origin, possibly forming the rudimentry elements to a small enclosure.
