| Abstract: |
In total, 21 sites of archaeological interest were identified, including a single Scheduled Monument, Barrow Old Hall. The majority were post-medieval in date, and were likely to be unaffected by the proposed development. It was considered likely that eight may be affected, and further mitigation work was recommended to allow suitable recording. Of particular interest was the close proximity of the development area to Burtonwood Airfield. [Au(abr)] |
