Abstract: |
A survey of a rectangular enclosure was carried out by the RCHME, as part of an archaeological survey of the Exmoor National Park. The site had first been identified on aerial photographs taken in 1977. Since 1977, a farm-yard had been created at the northern end of the site, destroying its north corner and much of the north-eastern side. The enclosure was rectangular with rounded corners, and consisted of a bank with an external ditch. It remained undated, but its form suggested that it may have been Roman. [AIP] |
