Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken to the rear of the Blowing House. Three launders, one buddle and spreads of tinning waste represented the earliest phase and were directly associated with the dressing floor and stamps. Two pits and a spread filled with burnt smithing waste related to the 1820s reuse of the blowing houses as a smithy shop. [Au(abr)] |
