Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during topsoil removal on the site is advance of a proposed teaching annexe building. The work revealed two modern parallel ditches on an east-west alignment at the south end of the site and a previously sampled excavated feature on the south-east edge of the site which may have related to chalk quarrying in the 18th and 19th century.
