Abstract: |
A small portion of Hadrian's Wall was excavated, at a site where the collapse of a large tree, which had formerly stood on top of the Wall, had left the monument unconsolidated on its exposed northern face. An abraded 2nd century AD potsherd was recovered from a deposit associated with wall tumble. Wall consolidation was conducted after the remains had been recorded. [AIP] |
