Abstract: |
A proposed pipeline in the area was deemed to have an impact on some of 58 sites identified by the assessment, as well as a further 10 located by the walk-over survey. The most significant sites were some settlement-type sites of the prehistoric period, representing some of the largest and most diverse in the area, as well as the most well-preserved. medieval and post-medieval remains were also thought to have the potential to provide a great deal of information.
