Abstract: |
The site is occupied by a pasture field, and is bounded on its east side by a 19th-century railway embankment. Historic map evidence suggests that prior to the construction of the railway, several additional field boundaries crossed the study area, and these were visible as slight earthworks in the field. A small area of vestigial 19th-century ridge and furrow was also visable. No other archaeological features or artefacts were identified within the study area.[Au] |
