Abstract: |
A trench was machine cut along the line of the planned pipeline. A number of unstratified flints were recovered and fourteen features were recorded. No material which could date the features was found. It was concluded that the cutting of a narrow trench along the excavated line would not cause damage to any archaeology either side of it.
