Abstract: |
The watching brief was carried out during geotechnical test pitting by environmental scientists. Nineteenth century finds were recovered from the site, which showed the area had been in use as a brickyard. From one pit though came a large quantity of Romano-British material, possibly indicating a pre-19th century surface. [AIP] |
