Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of a barn conversion revealed that the barn walls had been constructed directly on top of the clay subsoil. No evidence for earlier structures was encountered. Two earth floor surfaces associated with the agricultural use of the barn were recorded, but no dating evidence was retrieved from either of these deposits. [Au(abr)] |
