Abstract: |
The site of the watching brief is situated in the heart of the Roman town. Significant finds, some of national importance have been recorded as close as 5 metres to the proposed development, such as three mosaic pavements dating to the 4th century. During the investigation a Roman destruction layer with associated walls was observed in each of the four trenches.[Au(abr)] |
