Abstract:
The desk based assessment and building appraisal forthe site confirmed that although there were no known sites in the development area it was of high archaeological potential. It lay on a medieval street frontage, and there was evidence for an Anglo-Saxon building c.45m to the south of the rear boundary. The house itself was of architectural and historic significance. [Au]
