Abstract: |
Nine trenches were mechanically excavated at the site to a cumulative length of 230m. Seven of these trenches produced potentially Bronze Age features, mostly gullies, with some slightly more intensive archaeological activity, including some Bronze Age pits, towards the south of the site. A linear feature, probably corresponding to a post-medieval field boundary was also identified aligned east-west across the south of the site as were a few Roman field boundaries. [Au] |
