Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological assessment report outlined the mining history, identified archaeologically sensitive areas, and recommended the provision of an archaeological watching brief during Land Reclamation Works in Kerrier District. In 1996 watching briefs were maintained during mine shaft treatment works. The shafts related to the following mines; Wheal Treasury, Great Western, Wheal Penrose and South Wheal Frances. Surface works at Ruby Terrace at Porkellis were also dealt with. [AIP]
