Abstract: |
An undated ditch curing across the south-west corner of the site was the only significant feature observed. Modern brick fragments were present within the ditch fill but these may have been intrusive. There was evidence, in the form of redeposit chalk deposits overlying buried topsoil, that the garden to the rear of the house had been landscaped during the construction of the house in the late 19th century. No finds were recovered. [Au(abr)] |
