Abstract: |
The evaluation identified a complex and deep suite of Pleistocene sediments. The remains found included river gravels with faunal remains and abundant flint artefacts, slightly reworked deposits containing fresh and minimally transported objects and faunal remains. The remains can be broadly attributed to the Lower Palaeolithic. This made them approximately the same age as other national important remains found in the immediate vicinity. [Au(abr)] |
