Abstract: |
The development site lay within 'Anciently Enclosed Land'. No archaeological features were encountered during the archaeological watching brief though the range of artefacts found reflected a long history of land use here. Sherds of medieval and later pottery probably represented midden material from Tregays, but two earlier sherds suggested that there was an Iron Age and/or Romano-British settlement in the vicinity.
