Abstract: |
The watching brief showed that a possible prestigious commercial building had stood on the site in the post-medieval period (possibly an Inn). This was deduced from the large amount of clay pipe stems and animal bones recovered. It was suggested that a documentery search on the area would provide more information. [AIP] |
