Abstract: |
Only two archaeological features were observed. The most obvious being a cutting through the made-ground for a miniature railway which once ran around part of the nursery area. On the removal of the made-ground a circular pit was identified cutting into the Brickearth. Within its grey-brown silt clay matrix pottery sherds representing a single vessel of Late Bronze Age to Middle Iron Age date were found. A large number of burnt flints were also found within the clay infill. [Au(abr)] |
