Abstract: |
The project was undertaken in response to the construction of a new golf course. Due to the extent of the study area a walkover survey was the preferred method of evaluation. The only visible archaeologically significant earthworks were possible ridge and furrow, former hedge banks and possible minor quarrying. No significant concentrations of artefacts were located. The only earlier than post medieval find was a single flint flake of Mesolithic date. The impact of the development was minimal. [Au(adp)] |
