Abstract:		 Archaeological observations and recording were carried out of the groundworks for the construction of a conservatory. Twentieth century domestic refuse from a wooden verandah used for serving teas and refreshments since World War II was all that was seen. No significant archaeological deposits or artefacts were recovered from the site which lay immediately adjacent to Symonds Yat Hillfort, SAM number Gloucestershire 78. [Au(adp)]
