Abstract: |
The evaluation, in advance of the construction of sheltered housing, revealed a general lack of archaeological remains except for a large pit or ditch at the east end of the site. This was dated to the mid 16th century and contained a vast quantity of animal bone. A small 12th century pit was laso located. [Au(abr)] |
