Abstract: |
The assessment identified that the site showed possible activity in the prehistoric period in the shape of a ditch, loomweights and pottery dating to the Iron Age and Bronze Age periods. A Roman road ran to the south of the site while the medieval village of Desford was just to the north. [Au(adp)] |
