Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a residential development. A potential for prehistoric and Roman deposits was thought to exist in the general vicinity. During the evaluation, the remains of roads and concrete building foundations relating to a hitherto unrecorded Second World War military establishment were encountered. It was concluded that the site had very little archaeological potential. [AIP] |
