Abstract: |
The watching brief during groundworks for a new extension to the rear of The Greenhouse, comprised of eight trenches being excavated. These located 16th-17th century pottery from a late medieval pit. The watching brief established the possibility that a late medieval house was replaced by the exsisting building. This would be consistent with its location on the road leading from the centre of the village to the church.[Au(abr)] |
