Abstract: |
The area selected for excavation was a sub-circular structure sheltered from the north by a low limestone outcrop. There was no evidence for posts and it was noted that the structure was decidedly more rectangular than previously thought. To the east an entrance was discovered and there appeared to be a relationship to a remnant wall. Artefacts recovered from the site included flints and pottery which suggested a date between 400 BC - 400 AD. [AIP] |
