Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out at the rear of 40 Main Street, Market Overton, Rutland, monitoring the foundation trenches for a new detached house and garage. The site lies close to known archaeology of Romano-British date as well as Saxon. It revealed a sequence of natural and topsoil deposits along with a recent dumped deposit. No archaeological features were present and no finds retrieved. [Au(adp)] |
