Abstract: |
The site was being considered for the development of a holiday complex, and was thought to have remained woodland for most of the prehistoric period. Episodes of clearance followed this, with increased grazing resulting in heathland. A small number of medieval and post-medieval buildings were identified. A planning condition requiring at least a woodland survey was attached. [Au(abr)] |
