Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of the proposed construction of student accommodation and other university buildings. The aim of this work was to determine the presence or absence of archaeological deposits and features associated with medieval tile and pottery manufacture industries that were known to have existed in the area. Thirteen machine cut trenches representing a 5% sample revealed no archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
