Abstract: |
A number of Roman tile fragments and a chalk-and-flint wall footing were discovered by the owner of the property while he was excavating a drain run in his garden. Further investigation revealed fragments of Roman pottery. The wall footing was tentatively dated to the Roman period. [AIP] |
