Abstract: |
A survey of the known archaeological resource was made in advance of proposed flood defences. The proposed development lay adjacent to the historic core of the medieval village of Marchwood and had seen extensive use from the post-medieval period onward. The site had a low potential for encountering archaeology for all periods for the medieval, which had a moderate potential and the post-medieval which had a moderate to high potential. [AIP] |
