Abstract: |
Due to repeated damage to the medeival stone cross at Denchworth, it was decided to relocate the stone, moving what was left of the base and shaft from its original position in the middle of the junction of two busy roads in the village to a new position away from traffic near the church of St. James at the western end of the village.
