Abstract: |
Archaeological observations were made during the excavation of foundations for a terrace of four new dwellings and a single detached property. The excavations provided plentiful evidence of post-medieval and modern activity but no indication of any additional medieval features which were assumed to have been there, following prior evaluation. The extent of post-medieval disturbance suggested the large scale destruction of any such features should they have existed. [Au(adp)] |
