Abstract: |
A survey of the extant surface remains of the calciners and associated structures was undertaken at the site of the former Levant Mine. The whole site (from the chimney to the calciners and from the mine roadway to the cliff edge) was surveyed at a scale 0f 1:200, whilst external elevations of the calciners were surveyed at a scale of 1:50. A sample elevation of the chimney was recorded at a scale of 1:100. [AIP] |
