Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during topsoil stripping prior to the construction of an access road and associated houses on land located within the historic core of the village and adjacent to the medieval moated site of Moat House (a Scheduled Ancient Monument). No significant archaeological deposits were located, any earlier deposits having been destroyed by later building and landscaping on the site. [AIP] |
