Abstract: |
Three evaluation trenches were excavated. Trench 1 at the west of the site established that the area of the possible medieval mill was heavily disturbed and significant archaeological remains were unlikely to have survived. Three ditches of probable Iron Age date were found in trenches 2 and 3. Later features were post-medieval to modern and appeared to have removed evidence of intermediate activity. [Au(adp)] |
