Abstract: |
Six evaluation trenches were excavated. It revealed a small number of features of probable post-medieval date. The features comprised a large pit or water hole in one trench, and in another trench two post holes, one with a wooden stake fragment adjacent. Some medieval pottery was also recovered from these trenches. The remaining three trenches were devoid of archaeological features and finds. [Au] |
