Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was undertaken. The site was immediately to the north-east of 'Boys Hall', a medieval moated manor house SAM 146. This assessment examined and contextualised the significance of Iron Age and medieval remains discovered at the north-east boundary and adjacent to the south-west of the site. This report also identified further potential in particular for later pre-Roman/Iron Age/early Roman remains, as well as Neolithic/Bronze Age and post-medieval remains within the area under threat.
