Abstract: |
<summary>A desk-based survey, systematic walking of arable fields and ground-based reconnaissance of the proposed routes of a by-pass scheme was undertaken. The desk-based study identified 32 sites along the by-pass route, including 19 represented by crop marks. The fieldwalking was undertaken in 19 fields, of which three produced results considered to be of substantive archaeological interest. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
