Abstract:
No discoveries of interest were made, apart from confirmation of the point at which the drain from Nonsuch Palace emerged from the park. A particular aspect of potential interest was that the pipeline crossed the line of a possible Roman Road (SMR no. 1092). Unfortunately this part of the trench was excavated and backfilled without archaeological observation as had been intended.[Au(abr)]
